I bought this fan on eBay and I got it yesterday. Of course, since I can never make up my mind, I decided that I want a Mark VIII fan instead of this one. I opened the box to check it and it looks good. Here is the original seller's description:
"This is a 16" electric puller fan (mounts behind the radiator) that can be used on just about any setup. These came as OEM on '99 and up Volvo's, so you know they're a quality part. Shroud measures 24" wide, 17" tall, and only 3 1/2" deep to the back of the motor. Would be great where clearance is an issue. This fan pulls in excess of 3000 cfm and will exceed what the Flex-a-lite Black magic fan puts out. I've ran several Flex-a-lite fans, and this one pulls harder. The shroud can also be trimmed in width by up to 4 1/2", giving you a 19 1/2" resulting width. Like I said, this fan can be made to work in just about any application. I secured several of these fans. They were pulled by Volvo on a recall due to a hazard with the relay box. This relay can be pulled off leaving just a positive and negative wire to be connected to your car. If you wire this fan direct, you will have absolutely no problem. Cool your ride for less. Don't pay $200 for a Black magic when you can get a better fan for a fraction of the cost. Very clean fan setup that's ready to begin it's new life on your race car or street bruiser.
ALL TESTED OK"
I know a few guys on the Nastyz28 forum running this fan (they suggested it to me) and they are very happy with it's performance. I'm asking $40 plus shipping.
