A&E, just remember that "E" is for Entertainment. what else woudl you expect from a station that does "documentaries" yet doesn't even claim to be informational.

Their TOP, most well known street racer supposedly ran 12.1 at the track...um... so anyone in the 11's would make a killing in that town.. lol and the other guy the show is following and who is talking **** just ran a 14.6 lolol

funny thing is, if ithad too much fuel, it wouldnt throw a rod err eccentric, it would just burn cold. and it would make crap for power. now if it ran lean, I could see that happening!

definetley claiming too much fuel.

i have some knowledge of rotary motors from kids i knew since hs and always heard of the lean boom, but that was the first time i ever heard anyone claim too much fuel blew out a rotary.

yea i saw this show a lil while ago (back in december) when i saw that the dumbass blew his engine on the dyno i laughed my ass off. i dont like ricers/tuners but ill admit 12.1 is respectable for a 4 banger

i've even managed to destroy a motor before it was assembled.... go figure. Guess I'm just rough on equipment.

as for the lean story.. most guys here know it. Long story short: i was driving a guys mid 8-second camaro, he decided to lean it out some to get it to run quicker. POP! at 1000'. Just missed the guardrail. Oiled slicks at 130 mph are no fun.

yes, however, i still managed to save the car. it was the owners fault it blew up.

The dropped 440 on the other hand... well, that was just no good.
