What kind of person could buy a car like that and then just not drive it?

me.

i had bought the '88 formula for just such a purpose. i ended up not having anything to drive and started driving it, then i like it so much i gave up on my plans to keep it pristine. if i had bought it and had something else to drive, i would never have fallen in love with it and never would've had a reason to drive it. keep it in the garage with the plastic still on the seats and over the floor mats...

i'm lying, of course. i could never own an f-body and not drive it.

Apparently a few. I saw on eBay awhile back a 79 T/A for sale with only 33 original miles. Makes you wonder though if they stored it properly. Because the interior and exterior could look great, but everything else may be far gone.

why buy a car and just let it sit in a garage? Just buy a poster and look at it....
