i was jsut wondering who was planning to be at the nats and what class they were thinking about running?
anyone showing? what awards are you shooting for?

i will be there, dunno if my car will be. last year i had so much stuff to transport that i had to borrow my dad's truck to get everything to the track. lol
if i get to bring my car it will be parked in the show field. maybe i shoudl create an "ugliest 2nd gen" award so i have a chance at something. the only show award i have a realistic shot at is the "best engine/engine compartment" and "best interior" since those are the spots i have started my clean up in my car.

Ill be showing off... Unless I find the perfect 2002 Formula WS6 or 2002 TA WS6 then Ill be showing off the Camaro. I kinda noticed a slight leak in the T-Tops which gives me all reason to trade it in before it gets worse. I took the Friday and the Monday + Tuesday off prior to it already :-D

we definately hoped for more last year. jsut didn't work out with the weather being so oppresive and the 95% chance of rain that morning.
we have seen a lot fo interest from around the region and expect to see a lot mroe cars make it out this year for the show and racing.

If I can get the TA running and safe enough to put car seats in it (3rd gen TA - the ultimate family vehicle!) then I'll at least be driving it up. Island Dragway (http://www.islanddragway.com/directions.htm)is a mythical place in northern NJ-Land. You'll have to go east on rt22 for a few days through Easton, PA... then head NorthEast for another day or two..

Last time we met at the willowbrook mall wondering if we are doing the same thing this time. I am shooting for any awards from the show hope the work i did pays off.

Great Meadows is a few miles before Hackettstown (if ur coming from the west) . When your on Rt 46, all you gotta do is look out for the signs pointing to Island Dragway, and it will be a road on your left called "Island Rd" ... u will then go on a 1/2 mile or so road with cornfields on the left and right at the end is the dragway.

shoot 579 to 31. that is as easy as it gets from down here. with the exception of right in flemingotn there are very few stop lights/signs.
you can avoid a few of them by following 579 through ringoes(keeping to the left at the Y in the road) you can cross over to 31 on rt12(i think that is it) and come out at teh circle. that would skip several lights

e-town does that but they dont let ppl with slicks but street tires on the front back into the water box,theyu make them drive threw it,thats just as bad as a full street tire car going threw the box
