http://i1.tinypic.com/nc04si.jpgSimon Elliott, Managing Director of Chrysler Group said: "The SRT-4 has been developed by Chrysler Group’s ‘Street Race Technology’ performance division. All SRT vehicles feature unique exterior details, lowered sports suspension, sports interior and a powerful engine - the all-new 2.4-litre turbocharged engine boasts a tyre-smoking 300 horsepower to deliver a level of power you’d expect from a V8!"
The SRT-4 is a performance version of the Dodge Caliber and offers 260 lb. ft. of torque from a 2.4-litre turbocharged engine to reach 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds.

Under 6 sec? No word on if this is AWD or FWD.
I forsee the price of this....thing reaching in the mid 20's on FWD. I think the days of the street sleeper SRT4 Neons are gone.

Are they gonna make an ACR version, like they had for the Neon?

I'm probably one of the bigger dodge advocates, but that thing looks like a neon rear ended a minivan and pushed it into a durango.

I dunno, there seems to be very little info. Thats all I got from GMI and the guy who posted the info. Based on the lingo of "tyers" I assume this was shown at Geneva, and not in Chicago.

i still think it looks like a Pacifica, a Durango, and a PT Cruiser had an orgy and that thing popped out......

For some reason the front end looks like a dinosaur

Good call, deffinatly has a T-Rex vibe.
300hp, thats pretty deep. Time for GM to start putting VVT in the 2.0T motor, or DI'ing the 2.4 and adding a turbo.
The thing looks like a tank, but everything from Dodge/Chyrsler looks like a tank.
I'm 90% sure it will be all wheel drive.

The SRT4 guy I work with says that they wanted to keep it FWD to keep the price down. AWD Calibers are reaching way over into teh 20's loaded.
shoulda kept the neon, thats gross

that is ugly and who in the right mind wants a "sport" wagon, 300hp or not its very :gay:
i dont think a durango front end looks good on a toyota matrix, the durango front end doesnt even look good on the durango!
