I wanna buy some packs of desiccant to put in soem cars i have in storage where moisture is starting to become a concern and I wanna take care of it now. Ive seen ads for the stuff in Vette catalogs i used to get, and also in some hot rod catalogs i had, btu of course now i cant find anything about the stuff. It comes in small white packages that absorb moisture in the area, usually they come with electronics and such. I checked ebay and they really just have small packs for cameras but nothing listed for car storage. I want it for my SS and my IROC. I found one thign on ebay which was a metal pail with like 100 small packs. i figure i could just throw 25 packs in each car, lol. I'm gonna try to find a vette catalog again now or if i can find that company online. If you know where i can get it, let me know, thanks.

25 packs! I dont think you need that many unless there are the type that you find in beef jerkey pouches!

I think eastwood sellls those things, might want to take a look in to that.

the packs were like twice the size of a quarter, lol thats why i said 25.

i did just find them on Mid-America Corvette's website, Its sold as (4)2lb packs for 29.99. They say thats enough to store a corvette 1-2 years depending on the local humidity conditions. I am gonna order 2, 1 for the SS and one for the Iroc. Last time it got really cold after being warms a few days, i saw condensation on the inside on my SS windshield, not a good thing. And my iroc has leaking ttops and sat a while before i finally got a good cover on it. It already had mildew on the seats. I plan on doing a whole new interior anyway but i wanna try to make it a little better for now.

**edit**turns out if you buy more than 1, it works out to 27.99 each(4 2lb packs) not bad at all. If anyone else is interested, email me and i'll give you the info where to get it.

Try this link...

If it doesn't work, type it in manually without the linked pages.
