Considering what that 1LE went for at Barret Jackson, this isnt so out of line yet. Its one of 644 made with the notch, not to mention all the other options probably make it one of only a few. And with the ultra low mileage, its going to be worth some big money some day.

The factory put those out? I didn't know that. There is a red one down the street. How do you tell if it is factory?

true notchbacks have glass rear windows, very tight lines as it comes down the side of the rear glass, and there is a unique design/point on the rear deck right behind the glass. Afterkarket ones usually slope the sides at more of an angle so there is a "fiero" type look and have removeable plexi windows. and a smooth/flat decklid or with ferrari style louvers on the deckild. If i could find a true hatch, id buy it in a heartbeat, if i can find a whole car at a cheap price id buy that too.

so you could chop it up for its parts? lol
this guy keeps listing the car because no one is crazy enough to want it for 24k. maybe someday...

They only made 555 Trans Am verts in 91. Granted they were all with the 305 (Rockin the 5.7 here). Even with the higher mileage, I could get 8 or 9k huh?

Well considering they were only made for one year (plus one car in '89), they are alot more rare than a convertible. Ive got a '92 also... and while when I got mine with 39k miles in mint condition, I paid 10k for it because to me it was worth every penny. Was probably the cleanest thirdgen Ive ever seen... until I got my hands on it buts thats another story for another thread.

Cars are worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it.

which is what makes places like BJ so dangerous. they broadcast what people are willing to pay (but to the extreme, mostly) and that information travels the speed of light to all of the classic car dealers and private owners, who, in turn, raise their asking prices.
