Savage_Messiah

Partly makeing this to remind me to buy stuff ;)

As for me... keep forgetting to buy a lightweight battery
need to install the rear and DS
never got the money together for the TC or EWP
got my belt re-routed for !a/c but need to take otu the compressor

hm, I think that's about it. I will see where this weld wheels business is going before getting new DR's.

Oh and I gotta remember to get under the car on a nice day and remove the cruise control crap and the front sway.

EDIT:

gotta do the hood pins to remove that crap mounted to my rad support... (the latch stuff and then also washer fluid bottle)

Tim and I have a plan to improve upon my intake

that big ass A/C box is coming out

Lightweight battery, relocate my optima, or get a lightweight and relocate it

Oh annnd need to finally finish the !cat

Aaaaahhhhhhh decisions, decisions, decisions

I finished installing new rear springs and shocks. Finished the front suspension rebuild. Got stainless steel brake lines on. Waiting on new calipers and I'll be done with 13" C4HD Corvette front brake swap.

Need to get my new GSC's mounted and balanced. Need to install Dynomax Ultra Flo muffler and get rid of the flowmaster. I'm picking up a wrap around spoiler on saturday(I've been sporting the fast back look for a few years:) ). I want to get a new MC and hard lines for the brakes. That'll be it til my tax return:).

Play around with the ignition some, play with the timing and get MSD's HEI Kit with new coil.

- Assemble and paint the 355 shortblock (stock crank, resized rods, ARP bolts, Speed Pro hyper pistons, ZZ4 cam)

- Pull the World heads off the 305, have the springs checked to make sure they work with the ZZ4 cam, then install on shortblock

- Have Prevost burn a new chip

- Pull 305 and T5 out. Change leaking rear seal on T5, and install 355 :)

- Break-in new engine with open headers to piss off my co-workers :)

Nice! Those tires will look good on rally's. I ran some 235/60/14 on 14x6 rally wheels on my first Camaro. The car handled great and looked awesome.

245/60/15 is a great setup on a second gen. Nice height, not too tall. Nice & wide but no rubbing issues. Mine may get them before the summer is over. I hate the stock sized and especially fugly 225/70/15s Goodyears on mine.

i just changed the one on my t-5 when i did the clutch and its leaking 5k miles later..

just saw this post now lol hmm lets see...as far as the crooked tips of the magnaflow..mione were crooked, so I brought it back to the guy and he cut/welded and made them both equal. and as far as winbter mods, I still need to start lol...I plan to do most of this the week of spring break and saturdays after. I just finished redoing my room, so now its onto the camaro.

-put in the walbro 255 lph fuel pump
-repaint the chassis while the rear and gas tank are dropped
-have my SFC's welded in
-install LCA's and weld in relocation brackets
-order rear tires...prolly get them once it is nice out so i can smoke up the old ones
-make a new belt setup so I can ditch the A/C compressor
-bug my dad to call a collector car insurance company and put his vette and my camaro on the policy. My friend's mom set up one for him..I forget which company, but he pays I think $100 a year. I've gotten a few online quotes for $80-$120 per year.

Mine has ~7K on it. I'm also going to check the o-ring at the speedo connection too. It seems like this thing is leaking an awful lot of fluid, but ATF spreads out so it's tough to really guess how much I lost.

I'm close to that. I'm doing the "put everything into the JL8 and the mortgage" mod. But I just had to get another F-body so I floated a 2 year loan to buy the SS. I'll have it paid down in less than a year though. And i'm still considering taking a loan against my 401K to buy a 70-72 Camaro before the prices triple on them.

I have a long list which will depend on if I get a bonus this year or not:

1. Ebony Leather T/A Seats front and back, run power lines to seat.
2. Steel braided brake lines to replace the rubber hose (car pulls, brake calipers are ok)
3. Complete the dual snorkel air cleaner by getting driver inlet scoop
4. Install 4th gen seat belts and buckles all the way around (though grey belts with black seats may look ghey -- may need to buy black seat belts). To get the kids in the rear once they are in booster I'll need shoulder straps.
5. Replace goofy aftermarket spoiler with either a high-rise or the one with the notches for the factory three-piece.
6. Add some kind of steering wheel cover or replace the wheel -- every time i get in I get black schmutz on my pants from rubbing against it.
7. Anything I see that is cheap, like an $80 aluminum drive shaft.
