Found this in .02 seconds. :D
PS - If you want to try the steamer method, I have one from when we removed all the wallpaper in my house.
Well Kasey, I have a tool thats made to take off stickers. Ive taken off dealership and crappy bumper stickers that were on my Pro/Am's rear bumper without taking the paint off, and it took less than 2 minutes.
wow... first off NEVER use a blade to remove tint on glass with a defroster, unless you dont want a defroster anymore. Taking tint off a rear hatch is very time consuming to do it without any damage to the grid, Solvents are recommened to remove the glue once the top layer of tint is off. If you are going to do this, remove the hatch from the car and flip it over so its much easier to work on. Sometimes, You are better off buying a whole new hatch thats not been tinted.

I actually used windex and a razor and it worked pretty well on the left over glue from my drivers side. I tried the same thing on the passenger side but with a heat gun and it made it came out pretty bad. Im pretty sure I scratched the window too.
Im going to get re-tinted this weekend. Generally if you go to professionals they charge a few extra to remove it, but sometimes its worth it.
