hmm never knew the convertibles had blue tops on them

that guy on ebay is a joke, id never pay that, just for comparison my dad has a 96 impala ss with less then 3800 miles on it and a guy at a car show had the balls to offer him only $12g

cody is right, that is about 5 times the market value of that car. it is extremely rare as a convertable and the mileage is low, but that is out of control.
the blue wheels and accents were a part of the anniversary package along with other special badging, specific graffics, and specific interior highlights. unlike many other special edition vehicles, none of the stuff on the 30th anniversary T/A was available seperately.

That second one is reasonable... 35k for a anniversary convertible with 2k miles... thats understandable...but the first one, 125K?? gimme a break.

Uhhhhh...unless that puppy has a hard top convertable option, with twin turbos, interior redone by Ferrari, he can take that car and shove it.

But what makes these people think that their going to get those insane prices? Are people actually offering that much to give people the impression that they can charge so high?

i think the one on ebay was listed so high so more poeple will look at it, along with the buy-it-now options theres also an option for people to submit their best offer, its listed by a company, not the owner and its got 16 days left, no it wont sell for that much obviously but whoever has the highest offer they can pick

anywho that is my dream car

:stupid:

Friends of mine have done that before- listed things for outrageous prices to find out what the real value is.

Yeah, but if your listed price is too outrageous(like this one) people won't think you're serious about selling it. And just listing it with a high reserver to see how high the bidding goes does you no good to find out the real value. There are people that bid on cars similar to their's knowing they'll never hit the reserve just so it makes it look like those cars are worth more. Hmmm, that's a good plan. I should run up the bidding on all the JL8 cars for sale.... but wait, there are no real, documented JL8 cars for sale!

I think he needs to remove the 1 from his pricetag to get the realistic selling point.
