LCA RELO BRACKET INSTALL HELP

So i've purchased the LCA relocation brackets over the summer along with my lowered suspension and adjustable everything.... But I don't have a welding device to keep them in place as instructed. My question is can I install these relocation brackets without welding with not having to worry about it coming out of place and also where should these things be welded exactly and how much should I expect to pay at a shop?.....thanks!

No, you need to weld these in, thats the only option.

Basically after unbolting the LCA from the rear, you fit the metal box where the LCA went. It can only fit one way. You put a bolt in the old LCA bolt spot to keep the thing steady...make the top end flush to the axle housing, and weld. It shouldn't take a good welder any more than an hour. I'd say 50-75 bucks for an install at a reputable shop.

i have the bolt-on ones, just because ill be going to a 9" soon enough and i didnt want to weld on the rear which will be for sale then.

but anyway... I am ASSUMING you have a stock 10bolt rear. If you read that link you posted where you said you got them, it clearly states those are for 9" or 12 bolt moser rears only, and will NOT fit the stock 10 bolt rears. just thought id point that out.

Good call Paul, I noticed that too. Anyway, I have to weld mine in still, I was gonna wait till I had the rear back on the car and bring to the car to my house, unbolt the LCA to determine the angle in which I need the bracket to be welded and go from there. Just lay 2 beads on the side of each bracket.
