he wants to know how to make a budget purge valve for his nitrous setup. I will be of no help because I've never messed around with that stuff.

Nitrous equipment handles extremely high pressures, only the best quality parts should be used when building/servicing any nitrous system. If you dont have the money to do it right then don't do it at all.

Corrected. NOS is not stuff to be played with.

Guys, come on.

It's N2O, not NOS, Nauzz, etc.

Excellent advice. You want to be sure that you are in control of the nitrous at all times, or you risk some spectacular damage. A purge valve is simple to set up, you do it just like your nitrous solenoid. It's merely a low power (read:cheaper) solenoid hooked up early in the line. If you can get your hands on a good quality used nitrous solenoid all you have to do is plumb it in and wire it up. However, I bought my NOS brand purge kit off of ebay for $60 new and I really don't see you you can do it for less than that.

:stupid: x 2 Worry about making your car run good, look nice, upgrade stuff such as bushings/suspension and everything else that can deteriorate since the car was new..and worry about passing your driving tests  before you worry about power adders. Just my $.02

ahhh screw it.....plumb it right into the engine.....no jets, no solenoids...just use the knob on the bottle to turn it on/off.

j/k

If i was you, I'd do other stuff to the car wayyyyyyyy before I'd think about doing nitrous.
