no its not for my SS motor. I have another LS1 engine sitting in my garage that was out of a wrecked z28, the guy sheered the oilpan off and damaged the bottom of the block, and i may piece together an LS1 for a future swap into one of my other cars(monte, iroc, or vette), so if i can find a decent ls1 block at a good price, ill buy it.

hmm, maybe, It just spun the rods? so only the crank would have been touched? Are the mains fine? i have a rotating assembly so i just need a solid block, preferably one with no cylinder damage and that i could use with a standard bore(just a quick honing)

all it need is a quick hone ... i checked all the mains and they are fine. 300$ for th bare block or 400 with the crank
