I got pulled over one time and the cop gave me some bogus story that since I didnt have my front plate on he couldn't see that my car had QQ tags and thus, i didn't need an inspection sticker, so he pulled me over for having an expired one. This didn't make any sense since he had to get behind me to pull me over, so he should have figured the matter out in his head. He gave me a hard time about the front plate not being on, and I told him I was told by my uncle who's a detective that I didn't need one with QQ plates. He told me my uncle was wrong, since I was given two I need two. I still havent put it on and haven't had a hard time with it since.

just like getting pulled over by a statey if they arent wearing their hat they arent alowed to give you a ticket, well thats the way it is in PA, or if they were to have a headlight out on the car they wouldnt be able to give you a ticket so i would asume the same for the plate not being on the front of the car.

i completely 100% disagree... i'd rather go down fighting then bow down like a sissy. i think 100 dollars is a small price to pay for standing up for whats right

lol **** as of right now $100 can go a long way plus it is more than likely a lose/lose situation. If a cop is gonna let me go with a warning ill take it. Its hard affording insurance enough without opening your mouth and tacking on another couple hundred bucks cause you got a ticket.

hes gonna fight it and it be dropped. CT hates paying cops overtime for small fines. altho they seem to not mind when its me, esp after a ticket thats over a year and half old

I don't understand why people get so worked up about not puttting a front plate on their car. If it's required, put it on. What are you gonna fight, the fact that you broke the law so you shouldn't be fined? Yeah, I know, the car doesn't look as good with a plate, but it's required for a reason so live with it. What's really stupid is that NJ requires the front plate but PA driver's are allowed to drive in our state without the front plate. So how does the front plate help if only NJ driver's have them? This is one of those stupid state specific things that should be the same nationwide. Another difference is with boat/trailers and titles/registrations. NJ has a boat title but just a trailer registration, PA has a trailer title but just a boat registration! This should be the same nationwide as well. Stupid crap!

Personally, I think the majority of the motor vehicle code should be the same nationwide. That would end alot of arguments.

I agree with you guys. Make everything the same nation wide!
