ok, this is still just an idea, maybe not everyones taste, but i wanna see if it can possibly work.

I have a TPI system on the Monte SS i built. I painted most of the entire manifold setup black, with just the top of the plenum sanded smooth and not fully polished yet. Inside the fins its painted black still too. If you ever had a stock tpi setup you probably are familiar with how easily the stock runners dent, and then they look crappy. I was thinking if there is a way to use a set of modified lt1 fuel rail covers to attach to the tpi setup to cover over the runners, fuelrails, injectors, wiring, etc, and it would go from the upper plenum outside edges, down to the valvecovers. I am working on getting a used set of fuel rail covers to see it they'll work, or maybe even ls1 covers if i cut them. When i say "cut", i mean trim and notch, ect. in a very clean way with all edges finished and smoothed to look factory. Since the motor/injection setup is already something unique in the monte, i think custom covers would set it off just a little more than other TPI montes, (sorry steve, lol). Once i get the covers, ill do some testing and then ill post back some pics and my findings.

Eh, sounds so-so. I won't discount it till I see what you come up with, but I'm not a big fan of plastic covers on engines to begin with.
