It's been known for awhile that he has a daughter. But the fact that he's suing for $97,000 when he makes like $16,000,000 a year is ridiculous. Anyway, go Yankees!

yeah, thats messed up, he can afford to buy her a "truck, computer" and pay for community college.... but you still gotta ask yourself..why was he paying for daycare all these years? weird.

I have to question why he's only seen her 1 time in her life...is it the mother or is it him? I do have to question why he's been paying daycare for the past 10 years. And you'd think $60k/year for 16 some odd years would be enough to keep a roof over the kid/mother's head that they wouldnt need another $10k/year for daycare as well. Im completely on the line on this one...just wanted to hear everyones opinions on the subject.

ehemm....never see Mets in the news?......Doc Gooden.....Daryl Strawberry....if I'm not mistaken, Doc is in the Big House right now. Granted they were both Yankees at one time in their career, but they both spent more time with the Muts.....I mean Mets. I'm certainly not condoning the Unit, but at least he's not a crackhead.

Who cares? **** like this happens EVERYDAY all over the united states. All I care about is seeing the Yankees in the world series.

yeah, she is sssoooooo broken up about it that she took teh time to contact the media. i am sure her heart is bleeding as mommy cashes the support checks AND gets paid off for the rights to the story.
it sucks that he doesn't want o be invovled in her life, but if she really cared about this important family matter as much as she claims she would have left as jsut a family matter, not national news.

I agree with Eric, Noah and Tim. This crap happens every day and no one cares. why? because it doesnt involve anyone famous. The average person doesn't care what their neighbor does, but we all have to dig deep into celebrities lives just so we can find out some little dirty secret.

I also agree with Bill, why has he only seen her once? maybe the mother is the problem. I honestly dont care though

Agreed. I could tell you at least 4 friends that I have that had their fathers walk out and not be a part of their lives. So what? Does this story even deserve media attention? No. If I made that much $$ I would probably have bought that truck, computer etc but he's not obligated. Also, who the **** leaves their 11 year old in day car??

Him suing her is just to be a dick, which again, happens every day.

this is interesting to me...

My ex-girlfriend of a year and a half lives in Phoenix, AZ... and I'd flown out there several times. She's related to Randy in some way... I think she was his second cousin or something like that. But her mother and I would always talk and they both agreed that he was a total dick and extremely private. She has stacks of signed cards, but she said she's never even met the guy once, despite her being related to him. Her mom is still in touch with Randy's mom... but I also remember them saying that there was a big falling out on the mother's (Randy's) side of the family. Plus, I remember my ex saying that even Randy's own mom was dissapointed in how private he is. But, from what I understood... that was his nature, to be private. I mean seriously, he's one f'ed up looking cat- but DAMN can he throw a baseball. And, in conclusion, thats all anyone should really care about anyway.
