road racing > 1/4 mile

road racing > 1/4 mile

I like drag racing, but my car is set up to actually turn the steering wheel. The highway is really my thing. I've been wanting to get into road racing for a long time. Having a track an hour away may do it. I'm really interested in just driving on a course during an open track day, as opposed to actually racing and destroying my car.

Have you guys looked at what the membership fees are going to be though. It's kinda cost prohibitive unless you're a member of a club that can afford a club membership.

I was waiting for someone to read that. Think country club, but asphalt instead of greens.

I was excited till I saw that. And that is only after they do a background check on you and decide to let you join. F*** that.
