:w00t: looks good :)
OH, question! how does the exhaust exit in the rear? 04 GTO style? regular one on each side? SRT8 grand cherokee style with two out the middle?
unlike the srt8 my truck can pull a trailor....hitch goes where jeeps exhaust is.....
y-pipe into a single muffler on the right side
cool. I hate that about the Jeeps, very impractical. Although, there isnt much practicality in a 420 HP jeep
hmmm.........
230 miles on the truck, already needed to fill gas:
230 miles to a tank
10.8mpg
55bucks to fill
this should be fun
10.8 mpg!?!?! thats terrible!
the TB SS doesnt have displacement on demand?
no....the ls2 dosent have that afaik
damn, I thought they at least had it in the vettes or goats. Oh well!

No LS2 has AFM/DoD outside of the one found in the Camaro Concept.
The gas milage will improve after break in, and it helps if your foot isnt planted all the time!!

Actually, that gas mileage isn't too far off from the straight six. Those six cylinders only get in the 13's so might as well have a lot more hp. Nice looking truck but they could be in trouble with the new US mpg requirements they just released. What I don't understand is why GM can build that truck, but they won't build the standard cab SS pickup(like the old 454SS).

you gotta bring that to the trucks, so i can  at it in person.

ill be running it as soon as it hits 1000 miles and i change the oil once.
most of the planned mods arent power related...... remote start, the sub and amp out of the ta (so the birdy can be lighter) tint the front side windows to match the rest of the truck...
plan on getting a cai, and cut out soon.......and ill be letting bill go to town on the tune as soon as i get some baseline numbers

The GMT800, which the current pick ups are built off of, are not certified to take the LS2. The GMT360, a totaly different chassis which sits under the Tblazer, Envoy, Assender, Saab 9-7x, and the SSR is certified to handle it after the SSR got the upgrade last year.
You can get a 5.3 HO motor making 310 in a short bed, standard cab, 17 inch wheels..because I saw it and my jaw dropped. Price was around 22k too. Upgraded monotube suspension, G80 rear...lots of goodies.
You can also get the Silvy SS with the Vortec Max 345hp 6.0 motor in 2wd, but only in extended cab, long bed form.
Anyway, the new GMT900 trucks are rated for the 6.2 400hp engine that can only be found, right now, in the 2007 Caddy Escalade. There is also a posibility of the LS2 finding its way in a 2wd truck and there Mark Ruess who said that the next gen Silvy SS will be 2wd only.
320 miles and im in love with the damn thing
