Yup, in my dream this morning!

Wiring was virtually completed last night with the assistance of boon and paul. I woulda been lost w/o boons skillzzzzz.

So, turn on the ignition and nothing?!?!?!

Good fuel psi
Battery charged
Fuses checked
Wiring rechecked
Relays checked
yada yada yada

At this point I confirmed master switch works, bottle warmer switch works, purge button/ solnoid works, fpss switch works, activation button works, fuel and nitrous solenoid work.

And nothing?!?!?!?!

I gave up around 1:30 AM

I woke up and began working on the bird around 7 am.

I began to recheck everything from top to bottom.

Then I guessed (with assistance from fellow v6's) that maybe it is my starter???

Well..... after several hours (maybe 2?) of attempting to remove it it finally came off?!?!?!?! I replaced it before and it was maybe a 40 minute job from removing the old one to installing the new one. This one was a ******** nightmare!

I eventually got the nightmare bolt off.... went w/ paul to 1 auto store.... then to the 2nd... and finally got a new starter.

Eventually got it on... wired up... and viola! It started beautifully!!!!

I started it around noon today? Maybe 5 minutes later the sun came out and it was awesome!!!!

I let the bird run for 10-15 minutes while I was putting the carpet back and cleaning the car out....I was planning on leaving right away to the track .... and then the heavens opened up and downpoured!!!! It woke genie up from her slumber.

At this point... there was no way in hell I was driving w/ et streets on in the rain.... by e town it was sunny.... here it rained for the next 2 hrs.

I have to go to mom's b day party tonight... if I did not have to I would be at e town now!

As it sits now... I'll spray at e town next saturday at pontiac show and go.

I could possibly take a day off this week and hit e town/ atco/ or island... I have yet to decide.

I was sooooo pissed off!

BUT..... the wiring job now is incredible.... switches (except for activation) look unbeleivable, nice and clean. I'll post some pics soon.

The wiring job on the bird was rediculous.... wires were spliced 2, 3 and even four times.... some were not even hooked up to things.... I was in shock as to how my nitrous system worked previously... now I know why I have had problems here and there in the past.

Oh yeah, center console, ash tray, and some metal cylindrical thing off my k member got ditched today..... another 7.5 lbs...

I would guess the bird tips the scales at around 2818 w/o driver.

Heater core is next.

Then recarpet.

Both of those should get me into the 27XX's w/o driver.
Driver has lost 16 lbs so far.

I will have a race weight of under 3,000 pounds this year :)

Pic's and video to come shortly....

We're closer to Willowbrook, not far from where 80, 23, 46 meet. It poured for a while, and then slowed down for the rest of the time, I guess. It was actually the pouring rain that woke up me, not the bird starting. Then I went back to sleep.

In all I slept like 12 hours, but in like 3-4 hour spurts :(

Nitrous system got completely rewired over the past couple of days..... center console has previously been all cut up.... and its time has come! Shortly I will recarpet the car's interior to cover up all the area's missing carpet.
