Look what he bought for me this morning:

He found it at Columbus and after he bought it, some other shopper offered him 10x what he paid for it if he would sell it, and my brother declined. :D

James and I need to get down to Columbus one weekend. Dad wants me to sell a bunch of stuff (and has been asking me to for like 2 years now), and we want to find some new wlcome mats (the fun ones like "Oh no not you again" or "go away" ;) ). Anyone wanna make a group trip out of it?

I would be down, but I won't be able to do Sunday mornings until the first weekend in May. This is my month to usher at church.....

Ah, so glad I don't have to get up early on Sundays for that anymore. The paycheck was nice, but that was about it ;)

We'd prolly go stay at my dad's for the night and get up early Sunday morn to go...I'll talk to him when he gets home (he went to Etown to make fun of the ricers) and see when we wanna make the trip down.

Central NJ, not far from Great Adventure, FOrt Dix, Burlington etc. They have a pretty good flea market, the best day is Sunday morning, but it's also open Thurs and Sat outside, and everyday for the inside (little shops and food and such). Fresh produce as well. While it would take you a bit to get there (2ish hours, maybe less), it'd be well worth the trip to come down. YOu can get a lot of decent stuff for outstanding prices.

I've bought fully functioning keyboards for $1 each, a 60 lb scale for like 10, books for a buck, 4 jack stands for $20 I think, 10 poster boards for like $3 I think, and many other things. I've seen many tools, car parts, car paraphanalia, cell phone stuff, good food, clothes, etc etc for pretty decent prices. And even if you don't find anything, you get a great workout. My dad and I used to get up every Sunday morning (before I worked at the church on Sunday mornings) and walk the flea market before the majority of the people got there.

Just a heads up, it will be closer to 2.5 hours coming from Newton. My house is just under 2 hours from my grandparents farm (they live a few miles north of Chatterbox). Columbus is about 15-20 minutes south, depending on traffic.

oh no....a NJFBOA day at colombus?!? thats like a whopping 4 minutes from my house and inside is where i get all my paintball supplies. Let me know Im down! you can find all kinds of great **** there! My uncle was searching for a bayonette for his M1 Carbine (WWII rifle) and couldnt find one anywhere. We went out to colombus at like 7 am on a sunday and we found one within 20 mins almost by accident. Its also kind of scary going there cause the gene pool is extremely shallow!

That early in the morning and avoiding 206 it shouldn't take 2.5, closer to 2 I would think. 287 to turnpike to 7...at 5am...

Tsar, if you want, mapquest from your house to 2919 Route 206 South
Columbus, NJ 08022. See which way it takes ya and how long it says.

If its only 4 nminutes from jon's house, thats not too bad of a drive. I got to jon's neck of the woods in about 50 minutes.

When I lived with my dad is Wrightstown (about 15 minutes from there) and drove to Sparta, it would take me about 1.5 hours, taking 80 to 287 to the turnpike to 7A, and that was during normal weekend traffic. THat early, and if you drive faster than 75, you'll make it much quicker. It'll fly by.

When we figure out when we're going we'll see about whether we go down that morning or spend the night down at my dad's.

So, when do people wanna go?
