Ok so I've decided that I really want a bike for this season but I can't blow money on one with the house search going on and other expenses for the business. If anyone has or knows somebody with an old Harley in a general state of disrepair that is willing to let it go cheap please let me know. As long as it's mostly there I will be interested. It doesn't need to run or anything like that. I will rebuild whatever is necessary on the bike and paint it myself. Let me know!

i'll keep an eye out for you.

did you check Leesville Auto Wreckers in Avenel? they usually have some accident bikes that aren't really in bad shape.

oh and if you get look a bike with a salvage title, its not hard at all to take care of. I bought a 99 CBR600F4 out of NH with a salvage title and i went through the steps to have it changed to a clean NJ title. If you have any questions PM me.

I called Nick's and he doesn't have anything in the price range I'm looking for. Damn Harley's for being so expensive and damn me for being brand loyal. Anyone else have any ideas? When I get some free time (haha big joke there) I'll try some local salvage yards. But if I can find someone with one in their garage sitting around that would be best.

Unfortunately cheap and harley are tough to find in the same sentance anymore. I remember buying cheap sportsters for like 800 bucks in the early 90's. My dad and I had a garage full of them. Now the same bike is at least $3,500. It makes it tough.

Is there any particular year(s) or model(s) that you are looking for?

Not really.....I mean Sportsters are pretty much the only bike that will be in my price range. No 883's though. If someone has a basket case of an upgraded model for the right price I'd jump on it though.
