Well its been almost 10 months since i last took the car out to the track maybe more i lost count.......reason being is because i got discouraged about what i put in the car and got no results or atleast not the results i had hoped.......First question, is there a way to tell if your convertor is either installed incorreclty or set at the correct stall or engaging at the right throttle postiion.....i have a LEVEL 10 re-built tranny with all their whistles and bells (i believe they said it was rated to handle like 500-600 HP) and a 3500 stall....problem is when i bring up the stall on the line and then full throttle...the car doesn't move or break the tires or anything for a second then if i back off or wait the car will surge up in RPMS...any suggestions.....and thats only the first problem......

first question is who put this together and has it ever worked like a regular car trans ----- note a race trans is first a regular trans with manuel controls and stronger that stock parts high stall convertor has different angle fins to allow fluid to pass more freely alowing more stall one of my race cars has a 6000 stall and driving around the pits you would not know, however conecting the convertor to the front pump on a race unit is a little different than a stock unit ??????? need more info if the asembly has been installed correctly, than one can assume the convertor has a one way sprag that must be inop or broken, from what you have written thats a guess we do our own units and i am a dealer with tsr racing and alto clutches might be of some help but need more info jz

ok....what would be different about the install....if i knew the difference i could ask the question back to the guys at LEVEL 10......i don't know much about the internals just basic mechanics is all...But by my explanation of what happens on the start line, could the one way sprag (not sure even what that is) be the reason for the cars reaction...if so whats the fix involve.

i will be in my shop all day tomorow i am a geeser cant type well cant spell worth a **** and what you need to know i can answer but it will take me forever to type it out when i was a kid we had ink wells on the desks and later came a fountain pen hahahaahahaha john z 973 347 7070 z bros racing
