As some of you are aware, I have a strange automobile called an AMX. {A WHAT???} My strange automobile was built by American Motors. {WHO???}
There was a point in time not too long ago that "orphan" cars like AMC's didn't have too many cool parts available for 'em. Hell, I remember about 10 years ago I wanted to use poly bushings when I redid my rear leaf springs, and nobody had then available. So, I had to make my own outa some poly material I got from work. And it was no fun making 'em! But now I am planning a front end rebuild, and low and behold, the parts gods have smiled on AMC! I have a complete set of poly bushings sitting here, along with some circle track style shocks. I have a company winding some coil springs to my specs, and a larger front sway bar is in the mail. Geez, it is nice to be able to just install parts, instead of having to make 'em from scratch. Yup, times are good. :)
