92.3 Free FM: Gains and Loses

Well, listening on my way up to the north today, that Opie and Anthony will both be on from 6 to 9am every day. I was amped since I havent heard them since XM, and then since 102.7.
Well, that came to a hault when I listened to the Booker Show, as he was talking about how he was quiting and moving to a Philly radio station to do mornings.

Al, this majorly sucks. I dont want to listen to booker in the morning. not only that, but the rest of the booker show crew isn't going with him. he's getting new people who are going to be gayer than aids. no more danni, no more nick, no more brad and no more jill. There's still Q104.3 - the Classic Rock station. By and large, it's OK, but they do tend to play a lot of the same stuff.

Check out 101.1 if you come up north by the NYC - it's a mix of everything, with NO DJ's, and NO traffic or weather reports. Just music and commercials, and the music is basically anything from the '60s through today: rock, pop, funk, disco, etc. It's insane!

And, KROCK = KRAP. Talk radio belongs on AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

105.5 and 104.3 are both good rock stations... and it definately sucks about 92.3 I used to listen to it all the time. Infact Booker used to get me through work it really sucked when they moved him to nights

The entire NY area Free FM is uberghey. Every station just sucks. 105.5 played nice classic rock, now they mix in stupid emo green day ********... KROCK was good until they started playing "OH HES SO POPULAR, IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH IN LIFE, LEMME SLIIIIIIIT MYYYYY WRISSSSSTS" .... then I attempted to switch to hot 97 + 105.1 and now its "YO YO LOOK AT MY GRILL, ITS BLINGING" ....well look at my grill, im cooking ****in chicken... so thats why i drive in silence (and the fact all my speakers are blown, but whatever :-D ) [/rant]

Q104 gets boring after a while, they repeat the same play list and its defenitly noticable! They started to play music after 7, but today I heard HOCKEY!? They defenitly went down the tube.

Im sure they still could have survived with just music even without Howard.

but if you change your mood and wanna listen to a different song.. you dont have to go digging threw a whole bunch of CD's to find it so its much safer because you keep your attention on the road instead of a CD so you wount run over the squirl trying to commit suicide and run halfway across the road then stop infront of ur car then run back!! stupid animals

When I'm home I listen to 95.1 wzzo out of allentown pa. The DJs are pretty funny, and they play a great rock lineup. anybody up north and western central should check them out. Sometimes i can catch them in New Brunswick, but only on real clear days or whatever, if i didnt have my iPod in my car i dunno what i'd do.
