 After spending all my free time last week rebuilding the top end of my friend's Supra, I actually took this nice day as a chance to install my T/A rear cover and bleed my brakes.
Got the cover on nicely, filled the rear with fluid and posi addative, and i just need to read up on how to set the preload with the cover but thats on the back burner right now.
Rob_ws6 came over to be my brake pedal pusher guy, and bled the ABS box and brakes all around since i put the LS1 brakes on. Which lead me to a question for anyone who did the LS1 swap on a late 95-97. Were the LT1 hubs w/ ABS sensors used or the LS1's. Reason being is that my "TCS off" and "ABS INOP" lights are illuminated on the cluster and never did that with the LT1 hubs. I may plug the LT1 hubs back in and see if they are still on.
Back on topic. Took the car out for a little spin and the brakes grab like a mofo, but during the peaceful cruse, my drivers side headlight "bounced" a little going down the road. Now some may remember my post a few weeks ago about putting the brass gears in the headlight motors to replace the stripped nylons. Well, pulled back in the driveway, and the side of headlight motor shot right off. Seems the epoxy I put on after installing the brass gears didnt hold to well.
I friggin had it with everything. My truck needs a driverside hub and a passenger side window motor. Any foward progress I make with my car results with two steps backwards. I am starting to thing I did something terribly wrong in a previous life. :banghead:
