I just picked up a 1986 Trans Am, Blue over Silver.

The paint job is nice from a distance but close up suffers from lots of road rash.

Does anyone know:

• Approx. cost of re-painting (with all sanding down, prep, paint) this vehicle?

• Suggestions on who you have used and possible time it takes?

Whatever you do, dont go to Maaco ... they are ****** painters. There's a shop in Netcong right off rt 46 on rt 183 (i think thats the rt #, its right off the netcong circle) ... i saw the work he did on a GTA with a tunnel-ram, and it looked wicked. If not, try Dale's which is on that road with the graveyard in H-Town, i forget the name of it.
