yes indeed. unless someone wants to give me a ride, then i can go...i just spent $800+ on my trans and next week im going to bill for tuning which is another 230 plus gas and whatnot. im poor. ill meet someone up here and ride down, though, as long as we come back at a decent time (read: before 4 AM)

yea, and low oil light coming right right as I punched it getting onto the turnpike on the way home owned my ass, i got scared and took it slow till the Cleveland rest stop, put in not even 1/4 quart and the light went away

either a broken cam(dizzy dosent turn),or i snaped the timming chain.i started to rip the motor apart but its about to rain so i havent goten that far yet

it got sunny out again so i went outside and pulled the valve convers,spun the motor over with a ratchet and i most deff broke the timming chain.(lol somone needs to make a gear drive for the 60* engines)but anyways only thing to do now is get a new timming set,and put it back together so i can do a compression/leak down test on each cyl to see if i bent any valves.

a 1500 hp mustang is probably aluminum heads, and a fiberglass hood. if it was spinning high enough, its possible. i've seen some crazy things happen. im not saying it did, im just saying its possible.

I'd believe a rod going through the side of the block, or even out through the bottom of the pan...but I do not believe that a piston managed to make it through the head, out through the hood and into a neighbors yard. I dont think it would even make it past the head. besides, most of the time when something lets loose inside a motor, its during the power stroke so all the crap ends up going down through the pan or out the side of the block. I also highly doubt that a piston could make it through a cylinder head and still be recognized as a piston.
