I have already decided to get rid of my wheels for something different. Currently I am running 18/19 combo. Looks good, but I will never get a 19 inch tire that will give me any traction. Or 18 for that matter. After looking at the pic below, I am thinking about going with 18x9.5 on the front with a low profile tire, and 17x11 in the back w/ a Mickey Thompson ET DR. I have to have a minimum 18 inch on the front, because I have 14 inch rotors. That and the caliper will not fit inside a 17 inch. I will probably get the same wheels that are on the rear of this vette. I doubt the average person will be able to tell that the fronts are bigger. Sorry for the long explaination. Thoughts?

i like the wheels and am actually planning to get something like that on my ta and no the average person prolly wont be able to tell but anyone who takes a closer look at your car prolly will.... maybe get some 18's all around and a seperate set of rears for the strip?

i dont like the idea. our cars run on very rounded and fluid lines and to replace them with wheels that are very sharp and edgy would kind of look out of place. i also dont like the idea of running smaller wheels in the back. if no one can notice the size difference why not keep it at 18" all around? they make 18" drag radials.

i used to have 19x9.5 all around and i switched to 17x9.5/17x11. the 19s looks tons better but function over style anyday of the week

Hmm, you're right. I didn't know the ET's were made in a 18, but I guess they are. Guess I'll go with that :usa:

I can get the BFG TA dr's in a 18, but not the BFG Comp TA dr's. Not sure if I will be able to hook up with the regular TA's. I think my best bet will be to just run 17's on the back with ET streets.

if you put ET Streets on the back your handling is gonna be all messed up. you might as well ditch the road racing crap in that case
