View Full Version : Rewire help needed asap

i need to rewire my 70 chevelle....from what people are telling me it should be easy but i just suck at this... car has no power options whatsoever no radio no nothing just the basic headlight taliights cluster ignition and line lock power lines... heres the problem i leave for spain on the 18th and i want to drive this car on the road.. i have had the car since last summer and it just sucks not to be able to drive it.... any help would be greatly appreciated

Its not that big of a deal, do you have the wiring harness, Or are you doing your own custom wiring? If you have a stock harness take a good look at the condition of it and make sure no wires are brittle, or have any bare wires exposed. If you have a new one they are all labeled and getting yourself an original wiring diagram is a HUGE help. I did my chevelle with a new front harness, however used an original chassis harness. I wish I had gone to a new chassis harness to make it easier, but half the battle was because of the convertible top wiring. If you need any more help and if you are doing a custom job let me know. I may be able to either help you or find someone who can!

you could allso go to the junkyards in english town you'll find alot of old cars sitting
