Well, it looks like I'm about to buy another older Camaro and at this point I don't care if I sell the 96 SS or not! It just makes a difference if I do a 4 year loan or a 5 year loan. Gotta love being in debt!:???:

I say go ahead and get it, and keep the SS up for sale. Someone is bound to pick it up, you're selling it at a good price.

Do what you please. Im with Justin, keep the SS up for sale, stay firm on the price, or if you get a really good offer on it, take it.

if it is a difference of only 1 year and you don't mind being in debt, then go for it. personally i hate being in debt and a year would make a big difference for me.

Naahhh, I've already had a 68 SS396 conv. And the Dick Harrell car is just slightly out of my price range. No crate motors either.

COPO's are well over $200K already so that's out of the question. Still trying to finalize the deal....

Ok, the wheels are in motion and the loan has been applied for. The newest Camaro is a 1970 SS396/375 Camaro with #'s matching engine and GM of Canada documents. 1 of 600 made. It's not the original color and it has some non-stock stuff on it like Z28 wheels but I don't care for now. I've never had a 2nd gen car so I figured why not get the coolest one I can get! The money pit is getting deeper! And I will probably be eating PB&J or bologna sandwiches for the next 5 years!

My plan is to drive it as is and not worry about putting it back to 100% stock for now. I'll see if I can find some of the correct parts for it but I'm not worried about putting them back on right away. With my luck it will turn into a $200K car and I'll be afraid to drive it as well!

Nice lookin' car Jeff....
Now you just need a 3rd gen to complete the collection. :)

Hmmm, never thought about that. I guess I need a rare, limited production 3rd gen to match the rareness of the other cars....
