so now ur keeping the lg4? did ya fix the harness yet? underdrive pullies = more headaches then there worth ,they slow down the alt and waterpump,so alot of ppl get charging problems and they overheat, ull get maybe 3hp @ wheels.swaping the clutch fan,for a flex fan is alright,an elctric fan i sbetter but u need to wire it in with relays or wire it so its on if the key is on

Don't bother with underdrive pullies.
Electric fan would be fine. Once you fix the rest of your problems, go to the junkyard and grab one from pretty much anything. Wire it up either to a relay to run any time the car is on, or get a temperature switch for the head and wire it to that.
We'll give you better instructions on how to do it once you have a fan.

wayfast not to be mean or anything but do one thing at a time,as for a posi from the junkyard forget about it,third gens came with auburn posi units, which well they are just junk,so the chances of finding one thats good is like 0 chance.
and the junkyard is gonna bang u about 400+ for an entire rear.what u are better off doing is buying a ne wposi unit prefferable a eaton unit, those run 400-500 something i think,or u can get a cheaper auburn, but atleats getting ane wone u will get a warrenty with it,and having that installed in ur current rear

Electric fan is nice & easy upgrade. I will show you how to wire it when you get it. But have your other issues fixed.
Forget the underdrive pullies. Hold off on the rear. Get your engine/wiring strait first. Try to keep your running projects to a managable few.

I have the SLP Pulley with an A4 the only issue I have is when I pull up to a light and the ac is on or if my lights are on the charge level drops and my blinkers slow down and the ac is not as cold.
If you have a 4th gen car you don't need the switch, buy a programer and you can set your fan settings. I have a 160 stat and my fans are set at 174 and 195

I have a single one I am not using, but I don't have the mounting parts. Maybe Ted Gerlach has them, the guy has everything else in his 'warehouse'. :)
A single fan setup will cool that car fine.

Man, what junkyard are you going to? The two around here are both $50 for a rear, end to end....
Anyway, no junkyard rears Matt, not really worth the hassle of trying to find a working posi. Get the car running again, then do your fan swap. After that is done, then move on to your next project.
