Ok on the 88 IROC's was the door decal on the front or the back of the door? I know my grandfather had the car repainted by MAACO, sometime ago and I am looking at some pics and some were on the back. My decals are on the front of the door. Is this right, I just want to know because when i get a Paint job, I can have them put the decals on right.

IDK but I think it might depend on year? because I checked and some pics its front some are back but im gonna say back. Post it on thirdgen.org they would know.

For 1985 - 1987, the correct dimensions are:

Driver's
Horizontal: 6-3/8" from the front leading edge of the door to the lower left corner of the "I".
Vertical: 2-5/8" from the rocker molding to the same corner of the "I".

Passenger's
The same dimensions apply but to the lower right corner of the "Z".

so if thats what yours is Its wrong.

88-90 the decals are towards the back, and like matt said, 85-87 are towards the front.

man someone messed up at the paitn shop lol. yea mine is an 88 and it is towards to front, i guess i ahve to get it changed. thanks guys
