I would Like to say sorry for all the Bull **** I have posted. All Of the arguments I took part of Or instigated. It was verry imature of me, And Im sorry. Id like to say That right now and recently I have become VERRY honest, I probably wouldnt even lie to save my OWN life.

I usually start the fights by saying some thing sarcastic, or for you slower folks I joke around, It Is when Other people say something back I get verry serious.

I dont hate, dislike or wish harm to any of you. I come from a ****ed up path that many people would NEVER ever beleive I would do such things. I have a bit of a temper, and what makes me upset is when Im judged by people who have no clue who I am and what Im like.

I will be verry honest(like stated above) Im shy, I dont talk much at meets till im comfortable, this is not just in front of people on the board, this is even in front of family and people in general. When people get to know me they realize Im crazzy and a ton of fun.

I am asking you politely to accept my apology, and to please give me tips to change. Also tips so I can finally make my mind up.

Thank you, Im sorry, and god bless..

You're a good kid. I think sometimes people forget what it is like to be 14 yrs old. Hell, when I was 14 I was lusting over the new 79 Z-28 and Mustang II Cobras. lol

matt- i think your enthusiasm is whats killing you. you wanna do so much and you wanna get on the road so bad, you're forgetting your age. when we were your age we were the same way. we wanted to drive! i just didnt think about it and went on with life. there is no point in spending time worrying about hitting 11s and buying parts. instead of buying parts why not buy something nice for your girlfriend? or even your mom who has done so much for you with your passion for your car? all i'm sayin man is don't piss away your childhood over a car you won't drive for a long time. when i was your age i was hangin with the guys late at night and chillin with girls after school. i did what normal teenagers did and went to malls and movies and kept a 20 hour/week job. over the summers i worked my ass off. i wasted my money on taking girls out, new clothes, and hangin out with the guys. but i also saved up money for my car (and i think you would agree the end product was well worth it). my father did pay for a large majority of the car but i did pay for some of it (another payment was made to my mom as a bribe to get the car, but thats another story on itself ). invest wisely man. im getting a little off topic now but i hope your following me. i learned alot about cars when i helped my buddy with his chevelle. we never did finish the car but i learned a whole lot that way. you wouldnt believe the amount of hours we put into that car but it was a great time. it was well worth it. and guess how old i was when i did most of the work on that car? 13 and 14.

abridged version: go out, make new friends, play sports, do something! your gonna regret having wasted your youth on cars when it didn't help you then.

one more quick note: i got my camaro brand new in August 2002. i did my first non-stereo related mod in February 2005 when my car had over 40,000 miles on it. and my car is still a baby! so dont bother rushing things cause a couple years might not sound like a long time, but it really is.

dude, just be yourself, you sound like a good kid with a great ambition, just dont give up on cars, like instead of going to a normal highschool, go to a vocational school that teaches auto tech, learn the ropes, get a decent job or an aprenticeship at a mechanic's shop, get a good foot in the door and a grasp on how everything works, dont just look for performance, look for efficiency and economy, concentrate on one thing at a time

Listen to Jake. I wish I had spent more time being a Kid rather than putting countless hours into the Chevelle when I was your age. Remember you (we) are the only few who have the blessing to have something to work on at that age. Have your fun with it, as a hobby, but dont let it take over your entire live. When I was at that point of my life, I lost a few friends when they couldnt stand me workin/talkin shop. Dude, have your friends that wanna hear about the car but dont overdo it. Take your time and the best thing is that you have the time, and you have the passion to work on it. I think maybe taking a little break from the car (and possibly the boards) would be a great idea. It will clear your mind and let you begin to focus on what you want to do. When I was half way through the restoration I took a break for a year (mainly cause I ran out of money) but it was the best thing for me. I was beginning to lose interest, and I went from restoring it to original, to making it a modified vehicle. I know you already want to modify your car but it may give you time to realize what you REALLY want to do to it. Whatever you do good luck, you are man enough to write out an apology to everyone, and I can respect that! I know eventually we will see the Firechicken on the road and you having the time of your life with it. Remember, this is a hobby, and supposed to be fun. Keep it that way!
