Tub o junk = 34 lbs.
I previously removed the blower motor and a/c control panel and misc stuff for prob 6-7 lbs
The loss of coolant prob = 2-3 lbs?
The metal hard lines still in the car prob 3-4 lbs.
Right around 45+ lbs off the nose of the car :)
Should be in the 27XX's now

So wait, this is a v6 race car? Isnt that an oxymoron? You could have put a few boltons on an LS1 car and been where you are with full luxury and comfort... I dunno, to each his own I guess.

If I want luxury and comfort I take my benz
I enjoy beating ignorant v8 owners at the track with my little v6.
Hell....why did you bother modifying those old cars you have? You too could have bought gods gift to the performance world...... an LS1!!!

I would hope youd beat some of us "ignorant" v8 drivers, your car weighs 7-800lbs less that a normally equipped v8 car. Youve got a stripped down race car that runs 12's on spray... sorry bro, not impressed. ;)

Im not tryin to start anything or knock his car... its his, and he can do what he wants with it. My first post was a bit unwarranted, just my views is all... kinda like building up a 305... sure, not many people do it, but in the end your getting less bang for your buck and hard work.

In my big, fat, smelly, opinion...
It's cool to see variety. Hell, that is why I still mess with my AMX. With all the $ I've put into it I coulda owned an LSx powered vehicle outright. But there is something to be said about being different in a sea of sameness

In the v6 world...and a couple magazines... my v6 that runs 12's on spray was impressive.
