Corzine Lies again (http://www.nj.com/columns/ledger/mulshine/index.ssf?/base/columns-0/1152595855277870.xml&coll=1)

He lied in his senatorial race and in the governor's race.

Wow, that's especially surprising coming from the most politically biased, democrats can do no wrong, POS newspaper known to man. "We need to get the nearly 100,000 hard-working, innocent bystanders out of the financial hole we're digging for them because we are failing to act." That's great, but what about the rest of us. They were never in a hole because they're getting paid anyway, and actually turned out to be a bonus with the extra vacation time. What about all the casino and track workers....who's gonna pay them? Maybe if Carla Katz lead their union, too, they wouldn't have a problem.

i love when people blame one party or the other. trust me, any state you visit has some perfectly ****ed up **** going on no matter who is in charge.

Yeah, it doesn't matter which party is in control, things get messed up. But this really irks me because this arrogant millionaire didn't even try to balance the budget. He just said "let's take more money from the idiots that elected me!"

Both parties are the same.Although it would be nice to vote these ass-holes out. It's a one party system though. They don't represent the common working class, they represent special interests groups and themselves.

this countries first 3 presidents all warned against the hazzards of becoming a political party based society.
the simple truth is that there is no such thing as equal time for idealists unles they can afford to pay for it themselves. the political parties are jsut businesses, it pays to get your boy elected, it pays better if he sticks to the back room promises instead of the public ones.

Corzine has been in office about 8 months now right? Budget aside can anyone tell me what he has done either postive or negative for the state
of NJ in the last 8 months? Is this a no show job where you just sit and
wait for the four years to end? And every year ya take the beach walk for
publicity? For cryin out loud do something, propose something, get some
initiatives going. This state is a mess .....at least show your trying something.

The worst part is that he's using this as a stepping stone towards the presidency. He just walked all over the NJ democrats and forced them to do what he wanted even though it wasn't the right thing to do. He's already on a power trip.

They are all extortionists, they lie, wear pinstrip suits, have others do their dirty deeds, accept lobbyists bribes, they hold press confrences to tell the public everything is ok now that we have 7% sales tax and then start clapping at each other like they did someting good and tell us that the state we live in is the garden state! Well these gangsters of 2006 should all be voted out. Please dont forget in november, vote the bastards out!!!

I'm a republican and did NOT vote for Corzine. Yet I'm giving him time to try and do his job -- not only did he inherit the budget mess but the jackasses who caused it. No man can change that kind of entrenched corruption overnight. What he did do finally balance the budget which included paying obligations previous budgets ignored. Yes you can ignore those obligation are BS but that is another issue.

I'm pretty involved in the reform movement and I know how slow progress can come.

Balanced the budget my @ss. 75% of the sales tax increase is already going to other things besides the budget. 50% goes to property tax reform and another 25% to pet projects. What a bunch of jerks. This is truly out of control and they're patting themselves on the back.

Dosen't matter what party, they're all lying sacks of horse s#it!!! We are being taxed and charged fee's to death. Our forefathers started a revolution because they were being taxed....I only wish we had their tax rate, we are being bent over and the politicians didn't kiss us before they f@$#ed us.
