i believe all items posted by members with under 50 at the time have been deleted, and no longer exist. Also post whoring is not allowed just to get to 50 posts, personally i think the limit should be 100+ or so but im not an admin or mod so what can i do.

Make sure you are signed fully in when looking for the forum, otherwise it wont show, if you are, the admins may have to make the change thatll allow you to access the classifieds after the see you reached 50 post legitimatly.

Well, by nature I am not a post whore. I am actually a more reserved shy type. I have been banging around since this was the old club before it became the njfboa. I just don't feel the need to post about all kinds of stuff I'm not involed in. I did make the Island Dragway meet last month and was there for the F-body last year. I was planning on going this year as well. I learned about the club years ago when I met Kevin Crane. I was on when everybody used to receive every post as an email. It's not like I'm some weasel trying to infiltrate the boards. It just sucks that I'm getting email about the car for sale and they all say the same thing, "Were's the car? Did you sell it? How come I can't find the thread?"

i do understand, and i didnt mean to say you're a post whore lol, i was just stating what was said in the annoucement about it, which was made early june and was posted in the classifieds section and in the lounge as well.

My issue with the post requirements goes back all the way to LS1.com in 2001 and TGO back in 1998. I just have seen too many people sign up, use the boards occasionally and then when they wanna buy or sell something, they figure theyll never see the person again so who cares, expecially if the item is shipped. I like the fact that this is more of a local board so everyone can really get to know each other. I have sold parts to many member on this board, admins and new users alike, and through ebay all over. I like the fact that other members can see im an active part of this club/board and feel more secure about any transaction, hence why im pushing for Justin to set up "Trader ratings" on this site. The last straw that made me take more of a stand about it all was a user here about a month ago, he listed a car for sale, i went, looked at it, made a deal with him to get it the next day, then he calls me the same night, 10 min after i just talked to him, and said he was selling it to someone else for the same price. people like that are deadbeats and if he ever shows his face on this board again i will flame him every chance i get. lol.

I understand and agree. I have been on thirdgen for about 5 years and still only have about 400 posts but tons of good feedback. I am really an ebay whore, I have over 500 positves and zero negatives. Feedback is the backbone of ebay and a man is only as good as his word.

The thread I started was way back in the end of the winter, A guy who posts here, Ted Gerlach, Wanted to take the whole thing. Since I already know Ted quite well I told him I would hold it for him. Time pasted and Ted just had his second child, his wife is not working and he has taken to driving a tow truck on nights and weekends. Regretably he informed me he was not able to take the car. During this time the 50 posts rule was implemented. No problem, I am slowly working toward the 50th post!

wait, ah ok so that was you at island with the black iroc vert, very nice car. I was the jackass running the green diesel dodge ram, lol. Some day i'll get one of my 3 f-bodies on the road again. and one more question to help your post count, lol, how much of a gain would a ported plenum give a stock 350 with just a K&N cone and headers and full exhaust? :-)

There is a maintainence script that runs every hour, so you should be able to see the classifieds forum within one hour of making your 50th post. This was posted up in the Classifieds Rules announcement at the top of the classifieds forum on June 9, and went into affect on July 1.

This was done primarily to stop users from registering on our board just to use the classifieds section. I decided not to delete/lock any of the threads that were started by those who had under 50 posts, so you may feel free to bump them up once you regain access to the forum.

Yes smoking, that was me. I was giving you some competion. My vert is new (to me) and SLOW! Did you see my 17 second passes. How about my blistering 19.5@60 MPH! I had the air conditioning on and halfway down the track I forgot I was racing and started playing with the CD player.
