They look really nice, I wish I had gotten my super comps coated when I got them for the Chevelle. Good luck with them!

ya ur gonna love em the only thing i hate is how they cut that last pipe/flange on the passenger side, im gonna have to tac and pull the header and send it out to be welded up that exhaust leak annoys me. Along with getting the mufflex y welded up.

has anyone else who has these had a problem wtih the coating? mine started bubbling and rusting after only a year, now they look like hell... any idea on if the coating is warrantied and how to go about getting them recoated?
btw ted, they look nice! hopefully you won't have the same issue i did.

Those headers look damn sexy. I had them on the 67 but i didnt have them coated. I thought on the third gens the cut some of ur turning radius off? IDK i thought i heard that somewhere. Cant wait to hear once they are on.

Ted, Real nice set of headers, just don't touch them with greasy or oil on your hands or anything, it'll turn them black and it doesn't come off, trust me. JR

Yes, they should be warrantied, call them, plus i got a couple of good dingy's in them and they started to peel and they will rust. JR1.

wow this thread blew up :lol: Thanks for the offers guys, if I need more help I'll let you know. Believe it or not JM does really help, she gets just about as dirty as I do..don't let the long nails fool you ;-) hehe...and melissa, call up jet-hot..they have a lifetime warranty on rust and I think 3 year warranty on everything else. I delt with Todd when I ordered mine, he seems like a good guy.
