Looking for a local shop that could do some mods that I'm thinking about for my 06 GTO. Any good ones in the local area (northern Bergen)?

Looking to just put in a drop in in the air box (cant figure out how to get the one screw out of the way). May be looking to replace the front grills with the SAP ones. Maybe a CAI replacement.

Ah I would defenitly not go to a shop to have those things done. They will rape you on Labor! If you ever need a hand let me know Im only in Hawthorne, just down the road from Ridgewood.

Thats really great to know, was thinking about going with Flowmaster Super 40's. Hear they give to car a real good sound.

They do, but I seem to remember that they are some of the worst flowing performance-oriented mufflers out there.

Toss some moroso spiral flows on there I bet they'd sound great in a dual setup, if you're near north jersey lemme know I'll show you (f-body, but still an x-pipe setup). I've gotten plenty of compliments on how deep they are. Good luck.

Do you ever come to Wychoff Cruise night, I'm there about every week. It was hot this week, didnt get there until late (7:45), 3 other GTO's showed up and we closed the place. Anyway, would love to hear them. I'm in the just looking stage right now.

For you , it would be a bit of a ride, but you can mapquest it. On a good nite it gets 75 - 100 cars maybe more. Some folks from here go. Here is the address:

what other shops are in the area besides TTP?

Balla

There are 2 down the street from me; one is M&M Performance on Midland in Saddle Brook. It's a hole in the wall but they have a very nice looking mustang outside. The other is Acosta Motorsports further down Midland but they appear to be mostly rotary's and imports. I'm sure either could do the work without a problem, but do it yourself and save a buck while learning something useful.

Yeah, TTP has had my car for almost a month, waiting for them to put in my Moser rear. Might have to take the car and put in myself. Who's done the Moser rear before?

Check out Stage 1 on RT 23 north in Pompton Plains. He does a lot of Grand National work, but he also works on LT1's, LS1's, Mustangs, you name it, dont think he does imports though.

Flowmasters ain't that bad and they're still better than stock, sound badass on LSx motored cars;-)

Kaztec in Hackensack?
