now that we are getting close to the date for the show, i was wondering if anyone would like to help out at the begining of the day?
volunteering only lasts the first few hours of the day and then you will be free to enjoy the show. i don't recomend anyone who is planning to race or enter their car in the show try to volunteer, as it will cost you preparation time.
we are going to need a few people to help at the front gate(greeting entrants and handing out goodie bags), car show help(directing peopel where to park and making sure everyone has their info cards filled out for voting), and at racing tech(making sure that cars are in the appropriate classes)
the time volunteering at any spot will likely only be for about 2 hours right after the gates open. it may be a little longer if we get a very large crowd.

in case i somehow forget or get to caught up in the day to say it, i want to tahnk everyone for supporting the club and the nats. it is going to be a great show and i am looking forward to seeing everyone out there.

racing adn showing at the same time would be difficult. the car show field will be available for voting the same time that time trials and eliminations are going on. best bet would be to pick one of the other.
the volunteers would be needed from the time the gates open until the bullk of the people are in. most people show up with in the first hour to hour and a half of the gates opening.

weve managed to put 2 cars threw show/raceing at the same time before.so it shouldnt be a prob for us with 1 car but well see what happens

Gates open at 8:30 am, and we would like volunteers to be there closer to 8am, so that we can have everything ready to go as soon as the gates open to the masses.

Primo - If you want to help on the 20th, just show up to the gates at the track a little after 8am and let us know that you want to help.

im still undecided about going, if i do go, i will be there around 8 to help. I figure it may be beneficial for me to go, and meet some more people and hopefully make more connections to sell parts lol.
