I have all tools needed, but it wouldnt hurt if you brought your own socket set if you plan on stopping by. If you have extra air tools feel free to bring em as i have a 25gal compressor.
I can't promise food or beer to anyone who helps but I will greatly appreciate anyone showing up. Also, if you just want to come by to ******** and hang out feel free. Thanks in advance.

jesus did you use the engine hoist to lift the front end up?
yup...lifting from the upper rad. support

08-11-2006, 03:04 PM
Impressive, I knew you drop it from below, but never would have guessed the upper rad. support would work for a lift spot. Thats a good thing to know.
so um..what are u sticking in there? its not just a stocker is it?

yea it worked so far, but i did crunch it up a decent amount...cant tell if it bent the actual framework of the rad. support but the "lips" of it are gunna need a bfg before i put the rad. cover back on
so um..what are u sticking in there? its not just a stocker is it?
uhm...yea its got stock stuff

yea did well until about 3pm(ended up starting around noon)...then i had lunch and slowed down quite a bit.
However, i did manage to muscle the old motor off the k-member and slap the new one on, bolt up the acc. bracket, all the misc. sensors blah blah blah so the whole assembly is all ready to get bolted up and in tomorrow
Pics from about 7:30-8:00:

now the rear is out, fuel tank is out, fuel pump is out, just waiting to figure out how to glue up the bucket once the new fuel pump is in then everythigns goin back together
well we got the new fuel pump in last night so all thats left as of now is putting the tank back up and then bolting the new rear in...im shooting for starting at noon today.

Did you guys hook-up the water pump yet?
nah we're puttin that off till tomorrow night
today we got everything bolted to the car to allow it to move and started on the exhaust(got up to the muffler before we quit), and i did a massive cleanup so theres nothing on the front lawn nor on the driveway, old motor's inside, cherry picker's behind the boat etc...hopefully we'll have a short vid clip of startup tomorrow night

95 T/A vert with Lokar stainless braided dipstick tube that cost me almost half a hundred dollars
LMFAO FUNIEST **** EVER!
so does it run yet?
:banghead: im just about at the end of the rope with this damn thing...
between trying to get the exhaust to bolt up without hitting anything, making the tips look decent, losing the crank position sensor plug, electric water pump wiring nightmares, discovering that my lca's dont fit in the lca brackets on the new rear, flashing the pcm for gm injectors before realizing that they're ford injectors, and having to plug up coolant hoses that have nowhere to go(new water pump housing has em blocked off w/ freeze plugs), im about ready to torch this ****ing thing.
I'm supposed to be at work in 7 hours but im probably going to call out and go down the shore to unwind a lil bit...as of now it doesnt look like the bird'll be at the nats, though i will be there

call me or pm me your phone number and ill call ya if i need a hand...the lcas have about 1/4-1/2" of clearance in between the bushings and the inside of the re-locs...i could slap a couple washers in there but id rather just order some tubular lcas
