Congrats man. The coin in your first post, is that the Air Force version of a Challenge Coin? Army units all over have Challenge Coins they can hand out for exceptional service to the unit they worked with. Just wondered if that was one as well.

It can be used that way, but I have my squadron coin for that.

congrats for being way smarter then me and becoming a glorified civilian....oorah brother. i may be doin the same thing next year, any incentives for marines that want to cross into the blue?

I'm sure they would be happy to have someone who's prior military. We have a few here that were army/marines. I don't know of any incentives though.

You would have to talk to a recruiter about that one. I have no idea.
