Today i was coming down 528 in chesterfield when i saw a black C5 Z06. I hurried to get behind him since i was in the SS. I got up behind him and he seemed to be just an older guy taking his vette out for a nice SLOW drive. He kept going to where 520 turns into 660 or 664 (i forget) in North Hanover. We both turned onto Upper Province Line Rd. He slowed way down and then really hit it untill he came right up on the ass of a pickup. Maybe he was trying to see if i was able to hang with him (which i did). He then blew by the pickup and took off. I kept up with him and then got on the left of him and passed him doing about 120. We gave eachother the thumbs up and went on our own way. He seemed impressed that i was able to hang with him. I'm sure he wasn't WOT because I know my SS can't hang with a Z06 but as hard as he seemed to be pushing the car i was impressed with the capability of my SS to hang in there. He was definately a cool guy and I hope that i run into him again.

Sorry man... Pop up headlamps aren't cool. No offense to anyone. I wanted a C5 but when the C6's came out and when i seen the pop up lights were gone and the big rear end was gone i knew the C6 was the *****. Lets not forget about the C6 Z06:bow:

i'd like to have ls7s swapped in all the cars in my family but sometimes its just not feasible.
