Well Ive been thinking about free mods, and I dont know where to put this, but I guess this could have a benifit with cooling.

See how some of the area is cut and air can go through their?
If I cut out the rest of the area like that, would I loose areodynamics(sp?) would I notice a difference in cooling? maybe a little more oomphh from more air getting to the motor?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

Unless you have the air rammed into the throttle body, no special performance enhancement. And unless you hav a significant amount of more air into the engine bay, no special cooling will be noticed.
All you will end up doing is cutting plastic.

Your car is really a bottom breather. Notice how Pontiac selaed the nose up ~84/85? Look at GTAs. Those vents matter not.
If anything, the air damn under the nose is more important. I forget the application I used to order a new one for my 82. I remember looking at other f cars - some had larger ones than others (the stock on on mine was like 2", I got one like 5" tall). I had a big radiator, an electric fan out of an 85 (185* on switch, 180* stat) and the bigger air damn and the car never ran hot. Ever. Simple and effective.
If anything, you might want to seal up between the nose & rad support so no air escapes around the rad. But that is probably way overkill with a mild setup.

yeah with those holes cut into it, all that will do is allow rain to get in there and sit and make a mess..

it will help in the case there's another fire. more water can get thru the vents and allow to extinguish the fire much faster
