Is anyone available to possibly swing by my work during the week to help install a cam in my 95 LT1? I have never ever done a cam before in my life! I need help asap its really an emergency. All the parts i need for the swap are brand new aftermarket & GM parts and everythings ready to go. The motor is already stripped to the block and its ready for a cam! It'll be a quick & painless install because all the hard work is already done!

Anyone PLEASE let me know if they could swing by my shop after 5:30 anytime during the weekday!?

its super easy, especially since you have it stripped down that far. first youd get those lifters out of there, then unbolt the cam gear, take the chain off, i then bolt the cam gear back on, or you can use a cam removal.install too or longer bolts to make a type of handle. unbolt the cam retaining plate, and slide the cam out.. slowly, you dont want to damage it or the bearings by banging it around in there as you pull it out.

Hes pretty sure he can come up next Sunday to lend a hand. All I really need help with is to do the cam swap, and button up the heads, and I'll take care of the rest.

Yeah, he sent my boss the entire list, we ordered everything up through A-Tech (summit) today, and every gasket will be at my work by Thursday!

I spent about $1,400 so far, thats including the heads/intake/cam/gaskets. The PCM should be back by Friday or Monday at the latest, I'll make a last minute run for everything on monday and it'll be dyno'd sometime later that week!

Whatever times I run I will be very very happy! Im really really excited to get my car back on the raod with about 50+ extra ponnies

Good luck on the install, can't wait to throw mine in in the spring
