Looking for a Trans Am

Ok guys, so....

I waved goodbye to the mustang the other day, and have started the search for a new car.

Looking into a a LS1 Trans Am
Must be manual, T-tops or vert

anybody in the north jersey area selling one, or know of one for sale let me know.

Its going to be a toss up between....
03/04 cobra
98+ Corvette
98+ Trans Am

im goin to test drive a GTO and see how i like that as well.
Just wondering if anybody knows of something for sale, hearsay, driving by a dealership, etc.

Theres actually a pretty nice black WS6, my guess is 01-02 for sale on RT 46 at the bottom of mine hill... dont know how much hes asking for it, but I stopped to gander at it. Very sharp.

Mine Hill, NJ . Its right on Rt 46. Ill see about getting a # tomorrow or Tuesday, but the car indeed did look very sharp. Almost tempting to shed out another loan for it :lol: :twisted:

That's my friend's car, PM me and I can put you in contact with him. he works HVAC so he has screwy hours and isn't free much until evening. Car is indeed very clean.

looked into it.
Crane chevy had a 03 vert (car was smoking, and clutch is shot)
they then tried to rip me off with financing. so **** them. They wouldnt give me the financing i was looking for, so i walked. They have been trying to call me back nonstop, sending me mail, etc. (i walked cuz of 20 dollars a month).

went to another dealership. Was treated with the utmost respect. Test drove another supercharged SVT :laugh:

Anyway i picked up something :smile:
should have it by middle of next week

I passed a black/tan '99 T/A at Sifford Pontiac in Bogota today. Had a Ram Air hood and gold stripes, along with some other accent stuff. Was an M6 too. Dunno price since it was Sunday, but it sounds like you found a ride already.

probably will get criticized, its not an Fbody. But its something i like, and its affordable for me, and its not like its going to be stock for long. :shock:

he said affordable. 03/04 Cobras cost quite a bit more then an Fbody also insurace on those things isnt pretty.

Believe it or not insurance was not terrible, but combined with the car payments i was not willing to make that sacrafice for a car. So i got something i could have fun with 8-)

but i think u will like the new car, ill take ya for a spin in it :shock:

i was actually looking at the brand new GT's, but they didnt really impress me all too much. And the dealership that had the one i was looking for was charging WAYYYY too much. I looked around in long island and they were selling for 23-25 tops. In jersey the places i looked were looking for 25 BASE. so i said to hell with that.

i found myself a nice 2003 GT, rare color and low miles for a great price, which will be getting a forged shortblock and a couple lbs of boost soon enough :razz:
