for u guys that use nitrous, car to share any tips. i want to spray directly off the line, but is it safe enough,or should i atleast wait till im 20-30 ft down track,my plans are to spray in first to get that turbo spooled up fast, then prolly spray threw 2nd gear but thats about it .
btw ill be playing with a 35 and 50 shot, and possibly if everything holds together well i may be tempted to go for the 75 shot

all my cars are on window switches and throttle switches. it turns on at full throttle after 2500. with such a small shot you shouldnt have a problem

i launch on a 200 shot with no problems. just depends if your trans/tc will hold up to it, with a small shot you should be ok to spray out of the hole

on that small of a shot i wouldn't worry about it. i would look into a window switch and set it at 2800 or higher just for some extra added safety. i shoot a 65 shot dry off the line with the window switch set at 3200 just to get some traction. then another 65 after 4k so a 35-50 shoot shouldn't be a problem.

Have you considered getting a transbrake and leaving off boost instead?

with the 2,400 converter im usually able to footbrake it and get some boost, but soon as i launch and move a few foot down track i lose boost for about the first 150 ft or so.i looser converter would deff help.though im pretty sure when i swap out my 4:10's for the stock 3:42's i should be able to keep boost off the line.as far a sa transbrake ive already looked into it,it would have been to costly to do

If you don't have boost for 150ft you have problems, and nitrous won't fix them. Even the monster single turbos Supra's don't loose boost leaving off a 2step or footbrake.

from what ive bene told the very low first gear of the 700r4+ the 4:10s is why im lossing boost off the line.supposedly switching back to my stock gears should fix that
