can you use the computer from a 99 SS? i have one here you can borrow if you need it.

according to foff667 the computers will interchange, but it would require programming to be done.

thanks tim but i'll pass. i was just trying to swap one out quick to see if that would fix my reverse lockout problem. i'm like 99% sure its PCM related. i'm thinking i might just try removing the battery cables for a week or so to reset the pcm

you could "probably" use it but the coding internally is a bit different so im not sure if it will affect drivability at all.
