Well I really wanted to do a 402 but I just can't swing that kind of money right now (trying to buy a house) so I placed a call to my friend Mikey at Rapid Motorsports and we got the ball rolling for a new build here is a basic rundown:

-Stock block
-Stock crank, polished
-Scat H-beam rods
- ARP rod bolts
- Diamond forged pistons
- Clevite bearings
- ARP head and main studs
- Rollmaster double row timing chain
- Rapid ported LS6 pump
- Moly pishrods
- Trickflow heads
- Custom Rapid Dominator cam, can't share the specs but it isn't that wild
- Port matched fast 90MM intake/TB
- Fast fuel rails
- racetronix 42LBS/hr injectors
- Kooks 1 7/8 LT's with CATS

Again it isn't going to be too wild of a combo but I would say I am optimistic for more then 450 to the wheels and then there is may also be some happy gas in the future for it also....

Sounds like a good plan Nick. Hopefully next year everyone will have their cars ready for allot of gatherings and racings. Events seemed to be a bit thin this year so hopefully 2007 will be allot different!

events will get thinner & thinner until the new fbody is introduced...less cars on the road=less people that CAN show unfortunatly...then there are people like me that as we get older have less & less cash to spend on our hobbies :(

Well I am hoping that by starting with a clean slate I will eliminate all these little problems that keep sidling me. I am looking into a track rental at Lebanon Valley next year so hopefully that will all work out and I can get some people to come up! Don't get me wrong, i love going to Island but Lebanon is like home sweet home for me!
