anyone own a press or cotrol arm bushing tool?

I am rebuilding my upper control arms and need to press the upper bushings on using a press or a special GM tool. Does anyone have one I could use in the Morristown area? I was able to do the lowers using a ball joint press but I can't do the uppers because the mounting shaft is in the way.

when do you need this done by? I have a press, but we are still in the middle of a move, and the garage isnt built yet here and it wont be for another few weeks. Its still at the other house, but is all taken apart ready to move.

What kind of bushings (ruuber, poly (good f-ing luck), GW)?

Freezing them helps. I did the lowers on my 77 with a ball joint press. Make sure you put some kind of support between the sides on the 'open' to keep from bending the arm.

They are rubber bushings. I did the lowers with a ball joint press and freezing them first. The lowers went in pretty easy. The uppers have the cross shaft in the way.

I went the rubber bushing route because I wanted a smooth squeak free ride for when I get the car on the road. After the car is restored and I stop bleeding money, I plan on doing the Global West route some day.

There is a tool that looks like the ball joint press. The only difference is the lower receiver hole is a C shape instead of a full circle. There also are metal C shaped plates to keep the cross shaft from moving. You can also use a press to do it.
