The hard drive in my laptop ate it on friday and I need to order a new one tonight. Any of your computer folks have a suggestion on a site to order from that's got good prices and fast shipping?

Either Newegg.com or zipzoomfly.com

Newegg has the best customer service on the 'net, hands down. ZipZoomFly is also good, and I just bought a hard drive for my PowerBook from them about $10 cheaper than what it would have cost me through Newegg. Hard drive was DOA, but they RMAed it for me, no questions. Waiting for the new one to show up now.

Newegg is always first on the list for me. they have a warehouse in NJ, so even with UPS ground, it usually gets here in 2 days, sometimes next day if you order it early in the morning the day before(only if its in stock in the NJ warehouse of course). Only problem with that is, state tax is applied.

Not that it was mentioned, but from my experience TigerDirect.com is terrible. Stay away from them.

Which one did you end up going with?

I got an 80GB 5400 WD from zipzoomfly for $79 shipped. Should be a decent upgrade from the 60GB 4200 that was in my PowerBook.
